Fit for Work offers free, expert and impartial work-related health advice. It is designed to support people in work with health conditions and help with sickness absence. Being in work is an important contributor to good health. The longer someone is off sick, the harder it is for them to get back to work. Research suggests that being out of work for long periods of time is damaging to social and financial well-being, and health.

At the heart of Fit for Work are our Case Managers and Team Leaders who will provide support and advice to identify obstacles preventing employees from returning to work and produce a return to work plan tailored to the employee’s needs.

Case Manager

£30,000 – £36,000
As a Case Manager you will receive comprehensive training using the Bio Psychosocial model to develop the skills required to provide advice to employees, assisting them to return to work. If you have a background in any of the above disciplines, 2 years post registration experience, the ability to translate a clinical assessment into constructive advice and have an interest in occupational health, we would love to hear from you.

Team Leader

Up to £42,000
As a Team Leader you will provide our Case Managers with the ongoing support and mentoring required to ensure they provide the best return to work advice possible. You will offer day to day guidance to your team members, supporting them as needed using your professional knowledge, as well as using your leadership skills to foster a positive and supportive working environment. By doing so, you will ensure that they meet our quality standards when developing return to work plans or performing any other duties. We are looking for candidates with a professional registration in one of the above disciplines. An occupational health qualification is desirable as is experience of providing formal or informal advice in relation to occupational health and welfare. Demonstrable experience of leading a team and the ability to mentor and support others is required.
